Edition 10.2
£150.00 56.90% ALC./VOL.
This Octomore 10.2 edition spent the first four years of its life in fresh bourbon barrels, before being moved into incredibly rare Sauternes casks.
A SOFTER SIDE OF SMOKE
Our tenth series explores a different realm of 'softer smoke' and invites you to dismiss the numbers and forget everything you know. Complex, layered and endlessly alluring.
Building on the structural brilliance of our super heavily peated spirit, this Octomore 10.2 edition amplifies the marriage of bourbon barrels with Sauternes casks.
The reputable chateau who originally managed these casks had filled them three times over with French sweet wine, allowing the oak to mellow and therefore temper its influence in the subsequent spirit. The combination of the softer smoke and oak brings a beautiful balance, complemented with tropical fruit notes.
IN THIS TENTH SERIES, THE NUMBERS MUST BE DISPELLED. ONLY INSTINCT MATTERS. AN OPENESSS FOR THE UNEXPECTED IS ENCOURAGED IN ITS CREATION, SO TOO IN YOUR RECEPTION.

Our Octomore single malts have defied received whisky wisdom since they were first distilled in 2002. Sometimes bottled bold and brazen at 5 years old, always super-heavily peated and bottled close to cask strength, Octomore’s surprising elegance has led us to define it as “The Impossible Equation”.

Edition 13.1
£135.00 59.2% ALC./VOL.
Octomore 13.1 is as youthful and dynamic as its super-heavily peated predecessors. Distilled patiently from the 2015 harvest of 100% Scottish Mainland barley, this single malt is malted to a stratospheric 137.3 PPM and matured in the highest quality American oak casks.

Edition 13.2
£150.00 58.3% ALC./VOL.
Octomore 13.2 offers an alternative maturation to the structural brilliance delivered by its 13.1 counterpart. In an indulgent point of difference, the five-year-old spirit has spent its entire maturing life in Oloroso butts from Fernando de Castilla, Spain.

Edition 13.3
£190.00 61.1% ALC./VOL.
Octomore 13.3 demonstrates the phenomenal force of flavour when combining super-heavy peat with the variable harvests gathered from the island of Islay, raised by friend and farmer James Brown on one singular farm.

Edition 13.4
£170.00 61.6% ALC./VOL.
This limited edition Octomore 13.4 explores the astounding flavour produced when Octomore, the world’s most heavily peated spirit, is influenced by virgin oak – American virgin oak to be precise.
